Ready to make your mark in the signmaking industry? Applications are now open for the Signee Apprentice of the Year 2021.
This annual award acknowledges individuals who have the skills, drive, willingness to learn and work hard to achieve exceptional creative outcomes. It recognises well-rounded apprentices who demonstrate talent as well as display traits essential to the industry – commitment, innovation, and the ability to do better.
The winner will receive the Ultimate Signee Apprenticeship Pack, worth over $4,000 including funding towards further career advancing study and travel costs, and tools of the trade.
The award is hosted by the New Zealand Sign and Display Association and proudly supported by Competenz, the industry training organisation for the signmaking sector.
Competenz Apprenticeships General Manager Amanda Wheeler says the award is a fantastic opportunity for signee apprentices to get ahead.
“If you are looking to support your developing career into management level, this is a step in the right direction,” says Amanda.
The apprentice must have completed their apprenticeship between 01 January 2020 to 01 May 2021 or be in their third or fourth year of learning with Competenz.
