Competenz is about to launch an exciting new look and feel for its mechanical engineering online units with fantastic new features, including:

  • Easier to use
  • Better marking system
  • Smaller chunks of learning and assessment
  • Instant feedback for some incorrect answers.

A list of the affected units can be found here. Learners in mechanical engineering, plastics, irrigation, dairy, mechanical building services, locksmithing and some manufacturing areas also use these units.

Assessment settings for all other online units will also be refreshed to facilitate a more efficient marking experience so learners can get the most out of their online studies.

Canvas blackout

A short Canvas blackout for mechanical engineering units begins today to implement the new content and features. During this period, there will be no access to these online units. This blackout period will end on Saturday 25 September.

Some other non-mechanical engineering units may also be offline or have limited access during this time.
