This week, Competenz received the final full and unconditional approval from the Tertiary Education Commission to transition to become a business division of the newly created Work-based Learning (WBL) Subsidiary of Te Pūkenga on 02 August 2021.

A massive amount of work has gone into preparing for our transition since RoVE was first announced in February 2019, and while we’re not quite at the finish line yet, we do want to thank everyone who has contributed so far. This includes our staff, employers, key stakeholders, and industry associations, who have all generously given their time and honest feedback when we have engaged with them in consultation. It is deeply appreciated.
