9.15am on Thursday 15 October was Shakeout time at Competenz, as our 180 employees around the country took part in the world’s biggest per capita earthquake drill.

“Living in the Shaky Isles means we all need to know what to do before, during and after an earthquake,” says Julie Ingram, Competenz General Manager People and Culture.

“This is a great opportunity to practise the Drop – Cover – Hold drill. It may save a life one day.”

Competenz encourages the companies we work with to get on board with Shakeout 2016. Over a million Kiwis across the country were involved in ShakeOut.
