Ako Aotearoa’s Māori Education Hui is on from 1-3 August 2018 at the Vodafone Events Centre in Manukau, Auckland.
For the first time the conference is being co-hosted by Competenz and the ten other New Zealand ITOs, bringing on-the-job learning to the forefront of Māori educational achievement in New Zealand.
The event is open to Māori and non-Māori educationalists, teachers, lecturers, pastoral carers, policy and programme developers, researchers, training practitioners throughout New Zealand and all people interested in advancing the achievement of Māori.
Ministers Willie Jackson and Nanaia Mahuta will present at the conference along with 20 engaging speakers from across Aotearoa who will discuss mahi from industry, education, iwi and community.
This is a great opportunity to hear about the future of work and learning for Māori in New Zealand today.
